Listen here to this week’s edition of Rocking Tonight:

.Rocking tonight 3
Well, we’ve been blowing the dusty away and digging deep in the archives for some our choices on this edition of Rocking Tonight. We started with only a vague idea of what would be in this week’s playlist, but little by little, it all came together as old favourites and a few forgotten gems got pulled out for your listening pleasure.

So, when the appointed hour arrived we were as ready as ever, with a pile of fine sounds to tantalise your ears and feet at the same time. We got underway with that ‘boom boom man’ Freddie Cannon and a great classic of his, ‘Tallahassee Lassie’ and after that, we just didn’t look back . . .

There were plenty of Hollies in our playlist this time and some rocking little numbers from ‘the girls’, including Connie Francis, Brenda Lee and Helen Shapiro. It all resulted in plenty of foot tapping this end and maybe a few rhythmic steps from you too.

So, with a big thanks for stopping by and joining us for a little Rocking Tonight, we very much hope you’ve enjoyed our choices and might even have some suggestions of your own. If you do, we’d love to hear from you and always pleased to get some feedback too. So, until the next time we go Rocking Tonight . . . . remember . . . . have fun!
