Well, in case you hadn’t noticed, the blues are back and there was a whole hour of them on this week’s edition of The Blues Come Calling. So, if you like the blues then you were definitely in the right place at the right time and we kicked off with a little stormer from Murray Kinsley & Wicked Grin. They gave us the opening track on their new album ‘Stormy Water’ and we followed on with the old favourite, Mojo Hanna, delivered by Tommy Castro & The Painkillers and featuring the great Marcia Ball.

All too soon, the new album by The Backbone Blues Band brought us to the end of this edition of The Blues Come Calling. But, before heading for home, we tidied up the records and CDs, put the smiling picture of the station boss back on the wall and waved everyone a cheery farewell . . . at least until next week. That’s when we hope you’ll be back again, same time same place, when once again The Blues Come Calling. Until then . . . have fun!
