Heading for tomorrow . . . . .

Listen here to this week’s show:

Well, it’s always good to see the friendly faces Down at Kokomo’s and if you’re a regular here, you know there’s
always plenty of good company and some very fine sounds courtesy of yours truly, the Commissioner. So, it fitted well that we started heading for the midnight hour with and instrumental called ‘Bend A Little’ from Georgie Fame
& The Blue Flames. Those who remember them on the 60s UK club scene may also remember the late Herbie Goins
& The Nightimers, but whether you do or not, Mr Goins was up next with ‘Yield Not To Temptation’.

Bend A Little – Georgie Fame44 Shakedown
Yield Not To Temptation – Herbie Goins & The Nightimers
Love Me Do – Rudy Rotta
On Broadway – Leroy Emmanuel
Hard To Be Cool – Jimmy Carpenter
Knock Me A Kiss – Professor Porkchop & The Dishes
Hokin’ – 44 Shakedown

Well, we were just enjoying the amusingly title Professor Porkchop and The Dishes, when we noticed Miss Rosie
gliding past the tables and throwing a cheery smile as she cleared away the glasses. That was a sure sign that it was nearly tomorrow, so we headed for the midnight hour with something from 44 Shakedown called ‘Hokin’ and hoping everyone enjoyed their visit to Kokomo’s so we might see them again, same time same place next week. Until then ….. have fun!
