Listen here to this week’s show:

Well, it’s been a busy week, packed with plenty of gigs and some memorable moments. It was, of course, the 2015 BluesFest at London’s O2 and, if you were there, we may have seen you. There were some other gigs to fill the week and we found time to fit a few into this week’s playlist. But, we started off this edition of The Blues Come Calling with a little stormer from Dublin’s own Mike Brookfield and his band, who we saw on stage doing some tracks from his latest album ‘Love Breaks The Fall’, including ‘The Killing Line’.

It was another fine mix of old and new this week, which continued with a trip back to 1959 for a Chess release by Little Walter, ’Back Track’ and the rest is here . . . .

We managed to squeeze King King into our playlist, who were also on this week’s giglist. But, sadly they brought us to the end of this edition of The Blues Comes
Calling. So, with practised skill we were thenVoodoo Sheiks - Voodification heading for home, but not before we tidied up the records and CDs, put the smiling picture of the station boss back on the wall and waved everyone a cheery farewell . . . at least until next week, when we hope you’ll be back again . . .same time same place . . . . when once again The Blues Come Calling. Until then . . . . have fun!
