Listen here to this week’s show . . . .

.
Well, the nights are definitely drawing in now, but it doesn’t seem to have deterred anyone from calling by Down at Kokomo’s. Antoine has been kept busy at the door welcoming the friendly faces and Miss Rosie is as cheery as ever behind the bar. So, we were all ready for this week’s session with The Commissioner, taking us through to the midnight hour . . . . which kicked off with something from Freddie Scott and the Seven Steps and their take on ‘It’s Not Unusual’. By the end of which, we were relaxing and enjoying the good company . . . .

It’s Not Unusual – Freddie Scott and the Seven StepsIngfried Hoffmann
If Your Love Don’t Swing – Pete Kelly’s Solution
The Stuff You Gotta Watch – The Johnny Nocturn Band
It Ain’t No Big Thing – The Peddlers
Move On Up – Hammond Express
Mercy Mercy Mercy – Marlena Shaw
Pride & Joy – Cassandra McKinley
007 Bond Street – Ingfiried Hoffman

When Cassandra McKinley had finished swinging out with ‘Pride & Joy’,  I caught sight of Miss Rosie behind the bar looking at the clock . . . and that was a sure signal that we’re running out of time. So, we headed for the midnight hour with some excellent hammond sounds from Ingfiried Hoffman with ‘007 Bond Street’, which wound things up for us down at Kokomo’s. Miss Rosie was busy clearing the bar and tables and while Jazzy G was reaching for his coat Antoine was at the door seeing everyone out . So we said our thanks to everyone for their good company and invited them back, same time, same place again next week, Down At Kokomo’s. But, until then . . . . remember . . . . have fun!
